Switzerland
Three-quarters of the population nominally adhere to either the Roman Catholic or the Protestant Church , the two predominant denominations, but actual church attendance rates are much lower. It is estimated that only about 5% of Catholics and Protestants go to church on Sunday. The Muslim population is the largest religious minority, making up approximately 4 percent of the resident population.
In 2000 the Church of the Nazarene reported 4 congregations with 40 members and an average worship attendance of 52.
In 2004 we reported 2 congregations with 43 members and an average worship attendance of 86. |
